What does it mean to be UL Certified?
UL Listed means that UL has tested represented samples of the product and determined that it meets UL’s Requirement’s These requirements are based primarily on UL’s published and nationally recognized Standard for Safety.
GYROCOPTERS Hoverboard are UL 2272 Certified.GYROCOPTERS Hoverboards show its UL Certified authenticity by having the holographic sticker on the bottom of the unit.

Are you really Canada's hoverboard and e-mobility safety leader?
Yes. Gyrocopters, the e-mobility division of IMGadgets, is proud to be the first UL 2272 Certified Hoverboard brand in Canada.
UL is a globally recognized safety science organization. Our hoverboards have successfully completed rigorous construction evaluations, electrical safety testing, and strict compliance requirements under UL 2272, the safety standard for electrical systems of self-balancing scooters (hoverboards). Each certified unit includes an official UL holographic sticker on the bottom of the product as proof of listing.
Our Gyrocopters PRO 4.0 underwent extensive safety testing, including:

Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping carrier. Once your order ships, you can track it for the most accurate delivery estimate.
What’s the difference between processing time and delivery time?
Processing time is how long it takes us to prepare your order (typically 1 business day).
Delivery time refers to how long the carrier takes to deliver your package after it leaves our warehouse.
How do pre-orders work?
For pre-ordered products, shipping depends on when inventory becomes available. The estimated availability date is listed on the product page.
When will my pre-order ship?
Your pre-order will ship as soon as the product becomes available in our warehouse. You’ll be notified once it’s ready to go.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
Yes, but the recipient is responsible for clearing customs. Products with enclosed batteries (e.g., hoverboards, electric scooters) may face international shipping restrictions. Please contact us for orders outside of Canada.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes! Once your order leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive an update message with your tracking number, so you can monitor your shipment every step of the way.
Return & Refund FAQs
What is your return policy?
You may request a full refund within 30 days from the postmark date of your purchase. To qualify, the product must be unused, include all original contents, and be returned in its original, undamaged packaging.
Please note:
- A 15% restocking fee may apply.
- Any scratches, marks, or damage will void refund eligibility.
- We do not replace items damaged accidentally.
Can I cancel or get a refund for a pre-order?
Yes. Pre-order items are eligible for a full refund at any time before they are shipped or processed for shipping.
Can I price match items purchased during special sales?
No. Items purchased during flash sales or one-day sales cannot be price matched, as those prices are exclusive to the specific promotion.

What is the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?
When checking out with Shop Pay, you have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into four equal, biweekly installment payments with 0% APR, or monthly installments with no hidden or late fees.
Which payment methods are accepted if I use the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?
Debit cards are accepted as a payment method for Shop Pay Installments orders in all countries. In some countries, credit cards might also be an available payment method for certain Shop Pay Installments orders.
Can I use Shop Pay Installments if I'm an international customer?
Shop Pay Installments is available only to customers who reside in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom that have a United States, Canadian, or United Kingdom mobile phone number, and use a payment card with a United States, Canadian, or United Kingdom billing address.
Is there a limit to how much I can spend on a single Shop Pay Installments order?
Yes. In the United States and Canada, $30,000 USD or CAD is the order value limit that applies to purchases using Shop Pay Installments, including discounts, shipping, and taxes.
Can I pre-qualify for a purchase amount before visiting the store?
No. An application for Shop Pay Installments can only begin with a live checkout.
Can I buy gift cards with Shop Pay Installments?
You can't purchase gift cards using Shop Pay Installments. If you want to purchase gift cards along with Shop Pay Installments eligible products, then you need to place two separate orders.
Are there late fees?
No, there are no late fees if you miss a scheduled payment.
What if I miss an installment payment?
There are no late fees for customers who miss a scheduled payment. However, partial payments or late payments might impact your credit score, or your eligibility to use Shop Pay Installments in the future.

What if I make a return on a purchase made through installments with Shop Pay?
To request a refund, contact the store where you purchased your item. Using their return policy, the store will advise if a return is possible. If a return is possible, then the store will advise how much the refunded amount will be. After your refund is processed, the refund amount will be applied to your original payment method within 3-10 business days and your balance will be updated.
If your refund is less than your total purchase balance, then it might not lower your next payment. Instead, you can expect fewer payments, a smaller final payment, or both.
If your refund is more than your purchase balance, then the difference is returned to your original payment method within 3-10 business days.
If your order is made with interest payments, then the paid interest isn't refunded. When you make payments, the funds are first applied to the accrued unpaid interest and then to the principal. Interest is the cost of borrowing, and isn't refundable.
Warranty FAQs
What warranty coverage do you offer?
We offer a 90-day product replacement/repair warranty on all new products, valid from the original purchase date. Defective merchandise is eligible for repair within this 90-day period unless otherwise specified.
What is not covered under the warranty?
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Flat tires
- Physical damage, including water/liquid damage
- Damage from improper usage or handling
- Over-charging or improper lithium battery maintenance
- Accidents, misuse, abuse, or lack of reasonable care
- Stunts, tricks, overloading, or unsafe riding
- Use of unauthorized replacement parts
- Damage caused by using incorrect voltage
- Loss of parts
Additionally, opening or altering your device will void the warranty.
What happens if I open or modify my device?
Opening or altering your device voids the manufacturer warranty. By doing so, you assume full responsibility for the device and its functionality. IMGadgets is not liable for damages resulting from unsafe riding or improper use.
Do refurbished products come with a warranty?
Yes. Refurbished (factory re-certified) products include a 30-day warranty provided by IMGadgets technicians.
Please note:
- Refurbished items are fully functional but may have cosmetic markings.
- We cannot provide individual photos of re-certified units.
- All refurbished items are final sale (no returns).
- Refurbished products cannot be combined with promotions and do not qualify for extended holiday warranties.
Do you offer extended warranty coverage?
Yes. IMGadgets partners with CPS to provide extended warranty options.
- Extended coverage includes:
- Factory-authorized repair centres
- Protection from accidental drops and spills
- On-site service according to the OEM’s terms
Extended warranty can be purchased alongside your order when adding a product to your cart.
Do you provide compensation for inconvenience or delays?
No. We do not provide monetary compensation for time invested, shipping delays, frustration, self-repair efforts, or inconvenience caused.

What are the risks of riding a Gyrocopters product?
Riding involves an inherent risk of falling. By using the product, you assume all risks and take full responsibility for your safety. IMGadgets is not responsible for injuries or accidental death resulting from use.
Where can I find specific operating instructions?
Always review your specific User Manual before your first ride to familiarize yourself with the controls and maintenance requirements.
What should I wear while riding?
Safety gear is essential. You should always wear a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
I’m a beginner. How should I start?
It is highly recommended to have a "buddy" assist you with balance until you are proficient enough to ride solo.
Who should avoid riding Gyrocopters products?
For safety reasons, pregnant women, the elderly, and anyone with health conditions that affect balance should not ride. The product is not a medical mobility device.
Can children ride alone?
The use of these products by minors is discouraged. If a minor is riding, they must be supervised by an adult at all times.
How do I maintain balance while moving?
Keep your knees slightly bent and your legs relaxed to absorb shocks. Always keep both feet on the unit while in motion and pay attention to your centre of gravity when steering.
Can I carry items or passengers?
No. The unit can only support one person. You should not carry items or let additional people ride with you.
Where am I allowed to ride?
Usage is for personal entertainment only. You must comply with local laws regarding sidewalks and streets, and you must always give way to pedestrians.
What surfaces and conditions should I avoid?
Do not ride in the rain or on wet, slippery, or icy ground. Avoid steep slopes, narrow spaces, and obstacles like branches or stones. Additionally, do not ride near flammable materials or fire hazards.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes. You must stay within the weight limits indicated in your User Manual. Exceeding the capacity makes the unit difficult to control and can lead to dangerous speeds when traveling downhill.
How should I handle speed and steering?
Avoid starting or stopping suddenly. Do not ride backward for long distances or at high speeds. Remember that you will be taller while standing on the unit, so use caution when going through doorways.
Can I ride at night?
Avoid riding in dimly lit or dark locations. Stay alert to your surroundings and never use your cell phone while riding.
What should I do if my unit is damaged?
Do not use the product if it is punctured, damaged, or not fully functional. Do not attempt to disassemble or tamper with the unit. If there is an issue, contact the Customer Service department immediately.
What makes an e-bike "safe" for Canadian roads?
